Visit From Grandma!

We were all so excited this week to have a visit from Jared's mom, but not as excited as Grandma, I'm sure. It had been about 4 months since she had seen Kaylee and babies sure do change a lot in 4 months! We had lots of fun and Kaylee ended up stealing Grandma's heart! We miss you already! Come back soon!

Here is a picture with both Grandmas.

Kaylee enjoyed making a mess for Grandma too!

Yea! All done!

She wasn't quite as excited about eating her peas.
And look closely - you can see her two teeth!

She tried mighty hard to get that toe...good thing she didn't bite it off!

A Veterans Day Tribute

We are so very grateful for our Veterans! We attended a special program on Friday night at our church that paid tribute to the Veterans who have sacrificed so much in our behalf. We can not imagine having to go through all that they did in defense of our country. We owe them all a tremendous debt of gratitude! Thank you all so very much!

We especially want to thank Kaylee's two Great Grandpas, Larry Flint and John Thomson. Thank you both so very much for all of the sacrifices that you made that allow us to enjoy the many freedoms that this great country has to offer. We love you!

Here are some pictures of Kaylee's Great Grandpa Flint, who served in the Marine Corps in WWII.

Kaylee's First Halloween!

Wow! We have so much to share since our last blog. Of course, we had to post some Halloween pictures. Now we're a little biased, but we think that Kaylee makes a pretty darn cute ladybug! We definitely think that she's cuter than the little boy ladybug we saw out trick-or-treating. Hello! it's a 'lady' bug! Anyway, she seemed to enjoy it all and we got some great pics too!

Kaylee also went to the doctors last Friday for her 6 month check up (she will be 7 months on Sunday!). She weighed 17 lbs 14 oz. and was 26" long. This placed her in the 75th percentile for both height and weight. And some more exciting news...she's got teeth! She's got two little pearly white ones poking through her bottom gum. It's quite exciting and helps us realize how fast she's growing up (as if we needed another reminder). Here is the 6 month picture we had taken. She's wasn't too fond of the photographer though - hence the absence of a smile!

Kaylee got this outfit from her Grandpa and Grandma Thomson. Thanks!

Mommy and Kaylee were messing around one morning.

And we just love this dress!
