Happy Halloween!

Those darn Halloween costumes are so expensive these days! Holy cow. So Holly decided that she would try and make Kaylee's costume this year. She found the wings for Kaylee's costume at a second-hand store for like $4 and then she made the rest (sewed the leotard, made the antennas and put the little fluffies on her shoes) ! I think that it turned out quite well. Isn't she just the cutest little butterfly you've ever seen?

We went over to GGma & GGpa's house to show them Kaylee's costume. She loves playing outside and was showing the little squirrely how to smell a candle. How cute!

Then she decided to smell the flowers...

In the end, she was a pretty tuckered out little butterfly.

Kaylee also finished another "Mommy & Me" dance class this week. Here she is with her certificate.

Kaylee and her friend Charlotte are dancing...

And here is Kaylee with our next-door neighbor Veronica!

Tornado Kaylee

Holly took Kaylee to the doctor's office on Friday for her 18 month checkup. She's now 23 lbs (25th %) and 30.5 inches (50th %). She got a cold last week from nursery, so she didn't get her shots yet. But the Doc says she's doing great!

The other day while Holly was going through the mail Kaylee decided that she wanted to get some cereal out of the pantry. Instead of pouring it into a bowl, she decided to empty the entire box onto the floor! But she had a lot of fun playing in it like it was sand. Who says you have to go to the beach to play in the sand?

Well that box is empty - I better get another!

At least she's willing to help clean up though, right? Silly girl - she loves playing with those gloves...

Kaylee's Gramma made her an outfit the other day and we thought she looked so cute in it. Thanks Gramma!

She's doing her impression of Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible.

This is Daddy in Kaylee's "wind down" routine before bed the other night...
