Random Cuteness!

Kaylee went to her 9 month check up on Friday (although she's closer to 10 months). She's now a solid 20 lbs. and 27 1/2 inches which puts her now into the 50th percentile for both height and weight (down from the 75th). She's crawling all over the place and tries to get into as much trouble as she can! We love her to pieces!

She loves her little kitty towel. Such a happy little girl!

Here's a cute pic of her sleeping with her little batooty high in the air!

She decided that she wanted to empty out one of her drawers the other day. Fun, fun!

Thanks Gramma for the pretty bow!

What a cute little angel she is!

Laughing Hysterically

Well Kaylee's nightly wakings continue. As far as we can tell, she just wants to be held because as soon as we pick her up the crying stops - immediately. Then we put her back in the crib and the crying starts again. Does anyone else's babies do this? She slept so good for so long, but the last month or so she's been waking up crying and wanting to be held. I guess it's a good thing that she loves us and wants us to hold her, but not so much at 2 am! Those babies sure are good at throwing curve balls, huh?!

Well we just love this video of Kaylee laughing hysterically as her daddy goofs off in the background. She gets laughing so hard she falls over!

We remember putting this on Kaylee when she was just 2 weeks old - she totally drowned in it! We wondered if it would ever fit her...now look! We can't believe how fast she has grown!

She LOVES pulling herself up onto tables!

Look At Me Now!

Kaylee's big accomplishment this week was pulling herself up holding onto furniture. She can even walk alongside the furniture. Earlier this week we heard Kaylee waking up from her nap and went into her room. This is what we found:

Hi Mom and Dad! I can stand up all by myself! You're going to have to keep a closer eye on me now! As if she needed another excuse not to take a nap! Now when we put her in her crib this is the first thing she wants to do (I guess it's better than crying right off the bat)! And of course she takes any opportunity that she gets to stand up alongside tables, chairs - anything around the house that she's not supposed to get into!

Daddy put up some ceiling fans in the bedrooms this week. Kaylee was a big help!

And look - she's got lots of hair now too!

We had a wonderful week enjoying time with Kaylee and family. Hope that everyone has a wonderful New Year!
