The Dynamite Kid!

This post is short, but we wanted to share some fun videos of Kaylee swimming this summer. We've had our seasonal 'end of August - early September' heat wave, and so the pool has been a must lately.

Kaylee was a little timid of her 'dynamite' pool floaties at first, but after gaining a little confidence, she's never looked back! Her GGpa nicknamed her The Dynamite Kid. We hope that you all enjoy these videos of her!

A New Dress!

Kaylee's (very talented) auntie Kelly just loves Kaylee. She figures she won't have any girls (who knows why she thinks that, but anyway...) so she decides to spoil Kaylee. So she made Kaylee this dress (it sure turned out great)! And Kaylee is SUCH a girly girl; she just loves showing off her dress and bows and shoes etc. Just look at that smile!

Lil' miss cheese, herself!

We told her to tilt her head a little bit (and so she did).

And a little bit more...

Tada! Look at me! Man, she's just so cute!

And we've gotta include some tummy pics, too! Holly was 29 weeks here...

And this one was taken last night (30 weeks). He's coming!!!

A cute little Kaylee video from last night...

A Day at the Bay

Daddy had the day off from work so we decided to go down to the bay. It was a blast! Kaylee loves it down there and the time just flies by. Here are a few pictures...

Look at that adorable smile!!!

She's loving it!

And how cute is this picture!?!

Craft Time!

Kaylee and Mommy have started doing a 'letter of the week' project each day to help Kaylee learn her ABC's (and to keep Kaylee busy!). They've had a lot of fun doing it! Here's a pic of Kaylee with Al the Alligator...

And look at this face!!! She's really getting into the character!

Here's a nice cheesey grin for ya!

And here is the 'A' is for 'apron' day project...

Yummy!!! Smoothies!

Summer Fun

The key to keeping sane with a very active two-year-old? Activities. We've been doing our best at coming up with fun things to keep Kaylee busy. Here are some pics from the past few weeks...

Kaylee and mommy love going to the park. She loves kicking...

Playing catch...

We had a Wurtz family reunion a couple of weeks ago. Here we are with Kaylee's great-grandparents (Holly's grandparents).

Water was a must out there in the desert...

Look at that cute little face! And those curls!!!

And those cute little leggies!!!

There was a 'Concert in the Park' the other night...

And Kaylee LOVES going to storytime at the library...

Cute little girl in a pretty dress at church...

Chillin in the car with her shades...

She was hamming around the other day at GGs and she put a paper bowl on her head as a hat and then started sweeping with the broom. Such a silly girl!

And last, but not least, we have a tummy pic! Holly's now 26 weeks. Lookin' good, huh?!?

Tummy Pics

We thought we'd post a tummy pic or two for all to see. She's 23 weeks and doing pretty well (for the most part)! We're getting excited. Can't believe how fast it's coming!

Happy Anniversary!

Today is our 7 year anniversary! How the time does fly right by. Wow. Life is great!

We wanted to do something fun together (especially before the baby comes) so we decided to take a road trip down to San Diego together. Kaylee got to stay with Gramma.

We had so much fun. When we first got there we went to Coronado Island, had lunch and walked around a little bit. Then we headed up to Balboa Park. What a beautiful park! And so huge, too.

The botanical garden there is amazing. Take a look at some of the pics...

The craziest thing...we were walking around the park and who do we happen to run into? Two of Holly's cousins who decided that morning that they were going to go down to San Diego. They just so happened to be at Balboa Park, in the same garden at the exact same time that we were. How crazy, huh?!?

Day two we went to the beautiful San Diego temple. Awesome. Then we went to La Jolla cove and got to see these fat, lazy, stinky seals lounging on the beach. Pretty cool though.

Look at the little dude just chillin...he must be full from the little girl he just ate (see the pink shoe right next to him?). Hahaha ;-)

The cliffs at La Jolla Cove.

This trip was long overdue! We had a blast and can't wait to do it again!
