Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! Kaylee is not even one year old yet, but this is her second Easter! We just LOVED this dress that Kaylee's Grandpa & Grandma Thomson sent her (thank you). We got a little camera happy today - so bear with us here!

Here's Kaylee and the Easter Bunny!

Kaylee and Mommy (and little chicky)!

Kaylee just loves playing the piano. Look at her get up on her tip-toes!

Notice the good hand positioning...

He he...look at me!

The mail came the other day and Kaylee was Johnny on the spot. She helped mommy sort it out...Oh and notice the cute little chicky bum too!

Just more junk mail mom...

Oh - you should keep this one...it's a home improvement guide!

Here is our little flower!

Technology's Great (isn't it?)!

Well a lot of you all will have already seen most of these pictures (we get picture mail happy sometimes!). Believe it or not, only one of these pictures below was taken with a regular camera! When cell phones came out with cameras on them I remember saying, "Why would you ever need a camera on a cell phone?". Now I know. Thank goodness for technology! I love it!

Kaylee got a pretty good bruise (and bump) on her head last week. Good thing it's about gone now. It's tough getting your diaper changed, don't you know?! Here we are at Taco Bell - Kaylee is enjoying some good ole Zwieback Toast! She loves those things.

We were so sad about her bruised head, that we put a hat on her to wear at church so that people wouldn't think that we're bad parents...we had to hide the evidence. She still loves that thumb!

Kaylee and Mommy had a lot of fun this week.

She really enjoyed being outside on her bike!

Of course, Daddy and Kaylee had some fun too! She's trying out a new style. Gotta love the ghetto-style du-rag (aka pink tights)!

Here is a random collection of videos...enjoy!

Kaylee & Samuel

Kaylee had a play date last week at the park with Samuel (three weeks younger than Kaylee). It was very nice for mommy to get out of the house and enjoy time with another mom! The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves and Kaylee took a well-deserved nap afterwards. Aren't they cute together?

Hey Kaylee...when we're older, maybe we could go out on a real date...what do you think?

Whoa! Slow down there, mister...not so fast. I'm not even potty-trained yet!

Hey...where'd my biscuit go?!

Hmm...I think that maybe I'd like to play with that...

Gotta love life as a baby!

Little Miss Mischief

Well this week Kaylee made a new triumph. She was playing in a drawer, taking everything out off it (like usual). At one point, she had one cup in each hand. Of course this left her with no hands to hold onto the drawer with and so she just stood there for 3 or 4 seconds by herself (with pretty good balance, I might add)! As soon as she realized that she was standing, she plopped right down on her tush. But she stood by herself! She's done it a few more times since then, but she won't do it when we try and re-create the situation. Could walking be right around the corner? Scary!

She LOVES playing with the spices.

And don't look now, but here comes trouble!

Oh, look what I found! That's not important, is it? He he...

Kaylee is such a happy baby and we love her so much!
As her Gramma put it, "A day without Kaylee is a day without sunshine!"

Congrats to Uncle Primmy!

First off, we want to congratulate Uncle Dustin for graduating from helicopter pilots school. He has worked very hard and put in long hours studying. We are very proud of him! Yea!

And now Happy birthday wishes go out to both uncle Justin and Dustin (who are twins)! Kaylee loves her uncles very much. Here are some pics of her with them.

Uncle Primmy got to come out and stay with us again as he was finishing up his training classes. Here is a shot of us at a restaurant.

We were playing around with Kaylee in her room one night before bath time. We've got to train her to like the right teams, you know. Go Braves!

Mommy loves this dress that Gramma bought for Kaylee.

We were going to hang this mirror in our house the other day, but Kaylee has had so much fun playing with it that we've decided to keep it here for the time being!

And here are some cute videos of Kaylee playing in the mirror. Enjoy!

Our Hollywood Star!

We got to play tourist this week as Jared's cousin Ashton and his wife Becca stayed at our place. Kaylee LOVED the trip to Hollywood - there were so many 'interesting' people to see and things to look at. Here is a picture our family with the famous Hollywood sign in the back ground (it was a very smoggy day so you can't see it very well).

Ashton & Becca enjoying the sites.

Ashton is a photography major at BYU - you can't tell me that he didn't search for just the right angle for this picture (notice the horns)!

Elmo thought Kaylee was just so cute that he BEGGED us to take a picture of him with her. Kaylee was thrilled, as you can see - she's clinging onto daddy for dear life! He wasn't too happy with us when we told him we didn't have any cash for a tip!
Ha ha Elmo!!! Go and get a real job!

Mommy and Kaylee were playing in her room the other morning while getting dressed. Look at those legs! Gotta love the chub!

Kaylee just loves making a mess...we've got to teach her to put her things away when she's done though...

Yea! Look at me and my mess! (She's clapping, BTW)

Clap Your Hands!

Thanks Mike & Lauren (and Madison) for the inspiration for this weeks blog! We are so happy that Kaylee is now clapping! We're pretty biased, but we think that it is just the cutest thing in the world! Holly and Kaylee had been practicing and Kaylee took right to it. Enjoy this video!
And holy cow! She's 10 months old today!

Kaylee has been up to her old tricks again too! Last night was a doozie as she was awake from 12:30 am until 2:30 am. We sure hope that she's getting more teeth and that this is the reason for her restlessness! But wouldn't you know it - we had company spend the night last night too! They always picks the perfect times, you know?! Good thing we love her anyway! And sorry Ashton and Becca!
