Wow! We have so much to share since our last blog. Of course, we had to post some Halloween pictures. Now we're a little biased, but we think that Kaylee makes a pretty darn cute ladybug! We definitely think that she's cuter than the little boy ladybug we saw out trick-or-treating. Hello! it's a 'lady' bug! Anyway, she seemed to enjoy it all and we got some great pics too!
Kaylee also went to the doctors last Friday for her 6 month check up (she will be 7 months on Sunday!). She weighed 17 lbs 14 oz. and was 26" long. This placed her in the 75th percentile for both height and weight. And some more exciting news...she's got teeth! She's got two little pearly white ones poking through her bottom gum. It's quite exciting and helps us realize how fast she's growing up (as if we needed another reminder). Here is the 6 month picture we had taken. She's wasn't too fond of the photographer though - hence the absence of a smile!

Eating solids, popping teeth??? She is growing so beautifully! LOVE the ladybug, and I am with you on that one. I would never put one of my BOYS in a LADYbug costume! Ha!
ReplyDeleteI love how she's growing! Kate's 18 lbs. and scrawny like a bird. I feel like I have to be careful when I chase her and tickle her. No chub...gotta love the chub! so cute!

ReplyDeleteCute costume for Halloween! Kaylee and Boston weigh almost the same. Boston at his 9 month (note he is 10.5 months now) doctor's appointment weighed 17lbs 10oz and 28.3 inches. He's so long and skinny. I was very scared when I saw how little he weighed even though my doctor wasn't concerned at all. Nevertheless I've been feeding him like crazy every since that appointment and have been trying to fatten him up. We'll see at his 1 yr appointment if I made any difference. The percentile thing is so fun and yet so burdensome at the same time.

I just have to tell you Jodi's reaction to Kaylee's pix. I was showing them the cute little girl and Jodi said, "Oh she's a princess baby. She's a girl prince." Where do they come up with some things? We'll never know. The things you have to look forward too!

What could that mom be thinking about putting a boy in a ladybug costume? It could damage him for life!!! ha ha Kaylee made an adorable ladybug. She looks darling in all the pictures even if she wasn't smiling. Some days are like that.
