Well Kaylee's nightly wakings continue. As far as we can tell, she just wants to be held because as soon as we pick her up the crying stops - immediately. Then we put her back in the crib and the crying starts again. Does anyone else's babies do this? She slept so good for so long, but the last month or so she's been waking up crying and wanting to be held. I guess it's a good thing that she loves us and wants us to hold her, but not so much at 2 am! Those babies sure are good at throwing curve balls, huh?!
Well we just love this video of Kaylee laughing hysterically as her daddy goofs off in the background. She gets laughing so hard she falls over!
We remember putting this on Kaylee when she was just 2 weeks old - she totally drowned in it! We wondered if it would ever fit her...now look! We can't believe how fast she has grown!
She LOVES pulling herself up onto tables!

ReplyDeleteShe really has a great belly laugh. I love it! Great video. So sorry she's waking up at 2 am in the morrning. Boston didn't do that; it took him forever to sleep through the night but once he got it down he never reversed except for maybe a week or so here or there with growth spurts or sickness. Hopefully she figures out how to go back to sleep on her own soon because that must be wearing you guys out! Love the laugh! -Melissa
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, she is adorable!! Her laugh is contangious! As far as sleeping / not sleeping through the night, it's hard to miss your sleep, especially when there doesn't appear to be anything wrong, but remember, they are little for such a short time. Go ahead and spoil 'em!! -Grandma dk
ReplyDeleteKaylee is so much fun! It looks like those pjs are getting some good use. I can't believe how tiny that robe looks on her now. So cute! Tyler can't wait to come and play with her. Hopefully she doesn't beat him up too much. We'll have to make sure she has those fingernails trimmed!
ReplyDeleteLove the giggles!! She is so cute. As for the waking, Maddie does that whenever she is teething or thrown off by travel or something. We have to let her cry herself back to sleep a few nights and then it gets better. Good luck!
ReplyDeletewell, i hate to day it but it may last a while. B is now a year old and still wakes at 12:30 and 4:30. I hope it doesn't last this long for u, cuz trust me it's NO FUN!!! It was totally different with Kels cuz she was sleeping through the night at 2 mnths so trust me this was a big surprise for us! O well, we love 'em anyways. what can you do?

Kennedy has been doing the exact same thing--crying in the middle of the night and she just wants to be held. And my cousin's baby who is also 9 months old is doing the same thing too! We figure it has to do with the stranger anxiety thing they're going through right now. Kennedy is really clingy to me and always wants to be near me. When she wakes up in the night, I think she just is scared and wants to be with me. Some nights I feel like I have a newborn again! Hopefully it will pass soon enough, although I don't want her to grow up any quicker than she is. I don't know that I have any advice other than you're not alone!--Amanda
