Those darn Halloween costumes are so expensive these days! Holy cow. So Holly decided that she would try and make Kaylee's costume this year. She found the wings for Kaylee's costume at a second-hand store for like $4 and then she made the rest (sewed the leotard, made the antennas and put the little fluffies on her shoes) ! I think that it turned out quite well. Isn't she just the cutest little butterfly you've ever seen?

ReplyDeleteHow fun that we're reading the same book. I unfortuantely am not as far as you and book club is in a week! ahhh I need to spend some time reading. Anyway, I just have been a little busy with Halloween, but I'm so glad to hear you're enjoying it. I've heard great things about this book, but honestly I'm not far enough into the story to form my own opinion. You should join goodread.com. I'd love to hear your reviews and opinions on books you've read.
